Publish an App
This guide walks you through the process of publishing your app on the Federity-X Marketplace

Before you begin, ensure the following requirements are fulfilled:
- **App Provider Framework Agreement**: Your organization must have signed the Framework Agreement with Federity-X.
- **Portal Registration**: You must be registered on the Federity-X Portal and have a valid Business Partner Number (BPN).
- **Portal Access**: Ensure you can log in to the Federity-X Portal.
> Only users with the **App Manager** role can access the app publishing process. If you don't see the option to register an app, contact your Company Administrator to assign this role.
### Start the Publishing Process
#### Step 1: Log in to the Federity-X Portal
- Navigate to **App Management → App Release Process**.

#### Step 2: Create Your App Listing
- Click **Register your App**.

#### Step 3: Fill in the App Card details

- **App Title**: 5–40 characters
- **App Provider**: 3–30 characters
- **Short Description** (English & German): 10–255 characters
- **Select Use Case/Category**
- **Select App Language**
- **Assign Optional Sales Manager**
- **Provide Pricing Information**
- **App Lead Image (Cover Image)**:
- Dimensions: 275 x 175 px
- Max size: 0.8 MB
- Formats: JPEG/PNG
#### Step 4: Fill in the App Page Details

- **Long Description** (English & German): 10–2000 characters
- **Additional Images**: Up to 3 images
- Size: 266 x 150 px
- Max size: 0.8 MB
- **Supporting Materials**:
Upload 1 PDF per input field for:
- Data Prerequisites
- Technical Guide
- App Contract
- (Max 0.8 MB each)
- **Provide Optional Provider Details**
- **Select Privacy information**
#### Step 5: Contract & Consent
- Review and accept the Terms & Conditions.
- Upload your **Conformity App Certificate**.

#### Step 6: Technical Integration
There are two types of roles that should be picked here: User Role and Technical Role.
- Download the template and specify:
- **User Roles**: Define who can access your app.
- **Technical Roles**: Define what backend roles are required.
- Add Technical user profile

#### Step 7: Beta Testing (Currently informational only)

#### Step 8: Validate & Publish
- Review all fields and ensure they're accurate.
- Submit your app for review.
Once approved by the Marketplace Operator, you'll receive a confirmation email when your app has been successfully published on the Service Marketplace.

### After Submission
- **App Listing**: Your app will be published on the Federity-X Marketplace.
- **Lead Generation**: Interested companies can request subscriptions to your app.
- **Ongoing Updates**: You can return to your app listing to make edits or manage documents anytime.

### ⚠️ Legal Note
Publishing your app on Federity-X initiates visibility and availability within the marketplace. However, **subscription requests made by customers may result in legally binding agreements** between you (the App Provider) and the subscribing company.
> Federity-X does not intervene in contractual terms or subscription enforcement. If customers unsubscribe via the Portal, this **does not terminate any existing contract** between you and them. For legal matters such as termination, invoicing, or service-level agreements, please engage directly with the customer.
