# Publish a Service
This guide walks you through the process of publishing your advisory or enablement service on the Federity-X Marketplace
### Prerequisites
Before you begin, ensure the following requirements are fulfilled:
- **Signed Service Provider Framework Agreement**
Your organization must have a signed Framework Agreement with Federity-X.
- **Portal Registration**
Your company must be registered on the Federity-X Portal with a valid Business Partner Number (BPN).
- **Portal Access**
Confirm that you can log in to the Federity-X Portal.
- **Service Manager Role**
Only users with the **Service Manager** role can create and manage service listings.
Ask your Company Administrator to assign this role if needed.
> Only users with the 'Service Manager' role can access the following steps and complete the service release process. Please ensure that your company administrator has assigned this role to you before attempting to insert the service listing.
### Start the Publishing Process
#### Step 1: Log in to the Federity-X Portal
- Navigate to **Service Management → Service Release Process.**

#### Step 2: Create Your Service Listing
- Click **Register your Service**

#### Step 3: Fill in the Service Card information
- **Service Name**: 3–20 characters
- **Service Type**: Select whether the service is Dataspace or Consultancy
- **Short Description** (English & German): 10–120 characters
- **Service Card Image (Cover Image)**:
- Dimensions: 412 x 266 px
- Max size: 0.8 MB
- Formats: JPEG/PNG

#### Step 4: Service Page Details
- **Long Description** (English & German): 10–2000 characters
- **Supporting Material**:
Upload a single PDF (e.g., brochure or service overview)
- Accepted format: PDF
- Max size: 0.8 MB
- **Optional Provider Details**

#### Step 5: Contract & Consent
- Accept the Terms & Conditions.
- **Conformity Service Certificate**:
- Required **only for Enablement Services**.
- **If you are offering an Advisory Service**, upload a blank placeholder document instead.

#### Step 6: Technical User Setup
- Required **only for Enablement Services** to assign access.
- If not applicable, simply select **None** and continue.

#### Step 7: Validate & Publish
- Review your entries and confirm accuracy.
- Click **Submit** to send your listing for review.
The Federity-X Marketplace Operator will review your submission. Once approved, you'll receive an email notification that your app has been successfully published on the Service Marketplace.

### After Submission
- **Service Visibility**
Your service will be published on the Federity-X Marketplace and visible to other participants.
- **Lead Generation**
Customers can reach out via **Service Subscriptions**, which you'll be able to view and manage from your portal.

Publishing a service allows potential customers to subscribe to it via the Federity-X platform. However, any subscription may result in a legally binding agreement between you (the Service Provider) and the subscribing company.
> Federity-X is not a contractual party. Subscription management, payment terms, and service terms are handled between the provider and the customer. Clicking "Unsubscribe" on the Federity-X Portal does not cancel any legal or financial obligations. For such matters, please contact the subscriber directly.
